A cult believes the city is a maze. Its members obsessively search for the lost exit.
EXIT is an arthouse drama, written by me and directed by Marek Polgar. It stars Kylie Trounson, Michael Finney, Hannah Moore, Drew Tingwell, David Whiteley, and David Kemp.
After premiering as the closing night film of the Camera Lucida section of the Fantasia Festival, EXIT played at Sci-Fi London, the Arizona Underground Film Festival, Melbourne Music Week, and more.
Reviews said: “This is a quiet, deliberately somewhat uncomfortable, and engaging film, meant for rainy afternoons when you can leave the theatre and walk the streets and wonder.” And also: “Charlie Kaufman, Jean-Luc Godard and the Davids Cronenberg and Lynch come to mind as well, though Polgar and Pedler are no mere imitators as EXIT is possessed of its own clear style.“
It was one of FilmBizarro’s “Best of 2012” and Gizmodo’s “10 Australian Sci-Fi Movies You Need To Watch”.
It’s available to rent or buy on Apple or Amazon in the USA.
